Custom Casting Process
Drawings, 3D files from customer →Technical review and quotation → Order confirmation → Mold design and making → Test and repairing mold → Making sample → Customer confirmation → casting → CNC machining → Surface treatment (optional) → Inspection → Packing → Delivery.
• Payment terms & tooling lead time
Mould: 50% prepaid, balance will be paid after sample approval, normally tooling lead time is 30 days and sample lead time is 35 days, tooling lifetime is 50000shots.
Part: 50% before production, 50% after you receiving the copy of B/L, production lead time is about 30-45days.
Each item is 1000pcs/order, if quantity less than MOQ, set-up cost will be charged,
one time trial production for small quantity after mold testing is ok.
Standard packed in bubble bag then in carton, special request will be requoted .

1. The chemical composition of cast brass
Brass is a Cu-Zn binary alloy with zinc as the main alloying element, commonly known as brass or ordinary brass. Ordinary brass has a certain strength, hardness and good casting properties, but wear resistance, corrosion resistance, especially corrosion resistance to flowing seawater, steam and inorganic acid is poor. Various alloying elements can usually be added to improve the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of brass, thus forming special brass suitable for different environments, such as navy brass, free-cutting brass, high-strength manganese brass and die-cast yellow. 2. Casting process
There are some differences between the cast brass alloys due to melting point, fluidity, solidification shrinkage, melt sensitivity to gas, volatility and hot cracking tendency, so the applicable casting methods are also different.
